SCHOOL CLOSED

With subzero temperatures predicted for Friday morning, the National Weather Service has issued an extreme cold warning for the Chicago area beginning at 3:00 a.m. tomorrow. Given the extreme windchill forecasted at -40 degrees, we have made the decision to close our schools on Friday, January 23 in partnership with all other districts in New Trier Township. Per Board direction, the first winter weather emergency day of a school year will be used as a snow day, making up the day at the end of the school year. This now means that the final day of the school year is Monday, June 15, 2026. Any subsequent weather emergency days will be used as a remote learning day.
